I think the issue here is that the focus trees are all developed by very different people to very different standards. I found China's to be quite well done indeed, but in this instance I have to admit that Brazil's is sliiiiightly OP (Three focuses taken in a row can give 150+ oil, another three the same for steel) and Argentina's wasn't built to account for the contingency that Brazil doesn't want to be its friend, or that anybody might puppet Argentina and render them in a position where they couldn't form a giant Pan-American faction. So maybe if someone went through and just standardised the trees a bit so they're not so OP and not so buggy, then it'd be alright? Do agree though, the enhanced tech trees are the main appeal for the mod in my eyes, adds a lot of extra depth to the late game!. Exactly, I got invited to the mod but the difference in my philosophy is huge.

Because I am aiming for something way different. Every modder is like that.Mexico's mod is based on history and very real hidden dangers. If you are coming into it thinking like Hitler and a regular HOi4 player, you will get wrecked by Mexico's politics by going through the focuses like nothing. You will piss off Calles and you will create a civil war. You will piss off the world powers by nationalizing their assets, and get conquered, etc. You have to unlock your own government by cleaning out your political rivals for christ sake. You can side with people who want to overthrow your government entirely and not realize it because HOi4 never challenges you for control of your own country so you don't bother to do anything relating to espionage focuses. That is way different than what other modders do.I am even thinking of simulating the economic impacts of your choices and the necessity of having other nations.

Ancient Ruins Discovered Under Lake in Turkey. Video shows the remains of an ancient fortress sitting hidden beneath the lake's surface. Underwater Fortress Discovered Under Turkish Lake.

Which runs counter to what other mods in '56 do and make the nation unplayable because Mexico gets a slow start and other nations can become powerhouses in 1939 with all this free shit.Brazil is pure nationalism with huge bonuses here and there. You can do whatever and it will work. You get so many bonuses you outproduce America entirely.Other mods are like that too. Persia being one of the worst offenders. Its come to a point of whether I should balance it for '56 or keep my original vision of a real obscure history mod. At this point I fucking gave up on BICE.As more and more mods are added, my scope gets bigger and bigger because I have to localize the extended tech tree and all sorts of stuff that is frankly redundant. Why do I need to make localization for a dive bomber when the mod already had missions unlocked for fighters to bomb?

Why do I need to localize more and techs as time goes on so that the UI doesn't look like generic shit? The mod is all about what is in demand by the playerbase with no regard for balance or even logic. And I am the one who has to do the extra work to ensure its balanced and has custom content that unlocks when it sees you have the mod installed.
